ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ:          ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ  ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 1995 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯಾಯಿತು.  ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ 75 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.  ನಗರದ  ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯಾ 2011ರ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಂತೆ 65,493, ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 31-ವಾರ್ಡೆ ಗಳಿದ್ದು 31 ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ನಗರವು 15.01 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದೆ.

About Municipality: The Chintamani City Municipal Council (CMC) was constituted in  28th November 1938.This town is named after its founder Chintamani Rao, a maratha Chieftain. It is located at 13°4'N 78.07°E.It is located at a distance of about 75 Km away from Bangalore is amidst hills.It is famous for its gold and silver trade and its agarbathi(incense) industry.It is also famous for snacks such as chakli, nippat, groundnuts and others.One of the oldest dargahs in Karnataka, the Murugmulla Dargah of Fakhi Shah Wali about 8 Kms from Chintamani. Kaiwara,and Varadaraja Temple draws thousands of pilgrims.A jewellery market has also been thriving in this town for many decades now.

  ನಗರಸಭೆಯ 14-ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳ ಘನ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ, ಬೀದಿಗುಡಿಸುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಪಾವತಿಸುವುದು.  ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ದೂರುಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ-08154-252117 ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದು.  ನಗರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಚವಾಗಿಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿ.  -ಆಯುಕ್ತರು, ನಗರಸಭೆ.
